Convert a Quizlet set into an Anki deck
Paste the text exported from Quizlet: the tool detects the cards, shows a preview and builds an .apkg file that Anki imports with a double-click. Nothing to retype, nothing to configure.
How it works
Export your set
On quizlet.com, open the set from “Your library”, click the “…” menu, then “Export”, and select “Copy text”.

Separators are detected automatically and the preview appears. If a card is split in the wrong place, change the separator.
Open the deck in Anki
Download the .apkg file and open it: Anki creates the deck on its own, on desktop as well as AnkiDroid or AnkiMobile.
Frequently asked questions
Are the images and audio from my set included?
No. Quizlet’s export only contains the text of terms and definitions: images and recordings stay on Quizlet.
I can’t find the “Export” option in Quizlet.
Export only works on the quizlet.com website, not in the mobile app, and only the creator of a set can export it: a set copied from another user can’t be exported. In that case, copy the cards into a spreadsheet and use the CSV and Excel to Anki converter.
Can I review in both directions?
Yes: turn on “Add reversed cards”. Each card is then also created from back to front, which helps with vocabulary.
Are my cards stored?
No. The text is parsed in your browser. When you download, the cards are sent to our server just long enough to build the file, then discarded.
Is there a limit?
Up to 10,000 cards per deck. The tool is free and doesn’t require an account.
